Saskatoon defeated Winnipeg twice in a double-header on February 13th to go 2 points ahead of Calgary in the standings. The Accelerators won 6-3 and 4-0 and remain undefeated on the difficult sport tile surface of their home venue, the Henk Ruys Centre. Saskatoon has 2 games remaining and Calgary four, but the first meeting between the two, this Saturday (February 20th) at the Subway Soccer Centre, now becomes a must-win for Calgary. Should they lose, United would have to go to the Henk Ruys the following weekend having to win to stay in contention, and become the first team to defeat Saskatoon at home. Calgary ends the season with a double-header against Winnipeg on March 6th.
